Day 1 – Guwahati – Shillong (3 hrs Approx)
On arrival at Guwahati assistance at Airport / Railway station and directly driven to Shillong - It is the capital of Meghalaya, one of the smallest states in India. It is also the district headquarters of the East Khasi Hills District and is situated at an average altitude of 4,908 ft (1,496 m) above sea level. On the way visit Umiam Lake also known as Barapani (Big Water) is a spot around 15 Km from Shillong where a massive hydro-electric dam has been constructed across the Umiam river stream. On arrival overnight stay.



Day 2 – Shillong Local
Today you are proceed to visit to the The Shillong Peak stands at a whopping 2000mtr above sea level. Next in the schedule is a visit to The Elephant Falls located just outside the Shillong city at a distance of approx 10 kms provides a unique sight wherein the water column carves out its way and surrenders to gravity at two successive locations. Again proceed for the other sightseeing points like Wards Lake, Shillong Cathedral Church. If times allows you can explore local The Iewduh market or the Bara Bazar. Overnight Stay.



Day 3 – Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong
This morning, you will proceed on a guided excursion to Cherrapunjee (54 km from Shillong) Cherrapunjee, the capital of the British till 1874 affords an astounding perspective on the essence of Meghalaya, ‘The Abode of Clouds’. Stemming from its repute as one of the world’s wettest regions. Viewpoints like Mawkdok, halfway between Shillong and Cherrapunjee are an excellent vantage point where within the range of one’s vision, Waterfalls like Kynrem Falls, Nohkalikai, Noh Sngi Thiang Falls and Dain Thlen Falls and also Living root bridge provide the high points of a visit to Cherrapunjee. Back to Shillong. Overnight stay.



Day 4 – Shillong – Departure
Breakfast will be followed by your check – out and you will be directly transfere to the Guwahati Airport/ Railway station for your onward destination.
